Diff Oil Help

i used

motul Gear 300 75W90

BNR32 Tq'ed up 2 way diff..

will it be a problem ?

i just put it in..my car isn't running..should i change it..will it damage my diff if i use that oil ?

No good. Gear 300 is not appropriately friction modified for clutch type LSD use. You'll find it'll chatter to all buggery. You need to use "Motul Gear-FF LSD" for your diff.

motul pa90 is also good. but it is mineral oil. fflsd is synthetic, so it's better, but it costs abour 2-3 times as much.

e.g. I can buy the pa90 for $20 for a 2L can.

I used the same motul gear 300 oil for my gear box with my car which is an r32 gtst with viscous lsd. is this bad????

viscous LSDs don't require friction-modifiers like clutch-plate LSDs, so gear 300 will be fine.

i'm running it in my '32 GTS-t diff... seems to be going fine... actually quietened the diff down a little bit (not a great deal though)
