Hello,

Got my R32 4 door tuned at Chiptorque today.. The guys down there seems to know what they're doing, as the power figure is alot higher than what I was expecting. Let me know what you think of the graph. I was told that there might still be more power in it as it is still running a little rich.

Mods are:

R33 turbo, set at 1.0 bar via the actuator

Chiptorque chipped ECU

Custom FMIC with custom piping

High flow 3" dump with supposed high flow cat

Full 3 1/4" exhaust from the turbo back

Walbro intank fuel pump

Run on 98 octane ethanol from good old IFS!!

All I can think of at the moment. Heres the graph:

Note the red graph was the first run. I had a stock fuel pump, and on the last tune the injector duty cycle was maxed out, so now with a decent Walbro pump it caused the car to run extremely rich.

doesn't seem right... with a FMIC these should be about the same... this probably is making your figure about 10-15rwkw over what it should be

otherwise its a pretty good result :)

It's a fairly small front mount and doesn't get alot of airflow (you can barely see it through the front bar) But I get what you mean, the intake temp is a little high..

If the pump was replaced and it made the tune rich then why didnt they adjust mixtures to suit?

Also, its makes 14psi at 3900. Is that what others also acheive? I would of thought it would of come in sooner but could be wrong.

Lastly, you mention the tune is currently rich at 195rwkw. Do you still have the factory injectors and FPR?

At standard fuel presure with standard injectors 195rwkw should have mixtures anything but rich.

The pump was installed by a mechanic, so he did not adjust the mixtures at that time, thats what the tune is for.

i'm not to sure about the boost, but it feels really nice when it comes on so i'm not sure?

I still have factory injectors but not sure on FPR, could have been changed by the last owner but I don't think so. When I say there is more in it i'm only talking single digits, as the AFR's are running rich but safe, so i'm completely happy with it the way it is. But I thought I would pass on the comment from the tuner.

The temperature of the dyno room was actually about 32 degrees and I was in too much of a hurry to change it so that figure of 195rwkw is real and I would say that it would make within 5rwkw on another dyno in Shoot 6F properly setup. Dont know what Matt told you but your AFR's were mint and yes I was amazed at that power too.
