I am hoping to come and watch. I haven't been to sandown for quite a while and I would like to know which entrance people use and are spectators free to walk around the pit and above pits areas?

Sandown rd entrance and the just go and park in the pits area. Thats where everyone parks (and yes its free)

Usually you can walk everywhere, pits and all.

The entrance from memory is off Springvale road, via Sandown Road.
