Central Locking Prob

not sure if this has been asked before but my r32 coupe has a vision immboliser vae 315-950 with central locking i worked when i got the car 12 months ago but then 5 months ago the central locking side of it ceased to work but the immboliser and alarm still work i tried another master actuator on the drivers side but still not working could there be anything else i'm missing?

Checked power to the central locking harness? Check the C/LOCK fuse too, might be blown?

not sure what's going on managed to get the central locking working but then stopped working again i had both sides locking and unlocking but then figured out i'd wired the master actuator the wrong way round so fixed that still working @ that stage put everything back together still working then went to lock it and go inside and it stopped working

sounds like a bad earth to me. best to get it looked at by a shop or if you are in brissy give me a ring and I'lll fix it for you.

Mine has done the same kind of thing. i cant unlock/lock the car with the remote but when i use the key it still opens both doors.

I have no idea why it doesnt work and no the remote isnt dead. I still have to use it to disarm the immobiliser.

yeap thats pretty much what mine is doing i'm going to check the earth point just inside the driverside kick panel earth point and maybe scratch the paint a bit to make a better earth contact i'll just c what happens whats the worst thing that happens the central locking starts to work
