The event was set to be a test, a dabble into something just a little different for SAU-Vic.

With the aid of the top class instructors, the sponsors J-spec & Driftline, and all the volunteers & competitors...

Its quite safe to say this was a 100% successful event and went off remarkably smoothly.

I would be very surprised if anyone cant take something away from this event that they did not have before.

I saw all throughout the day people's skills improving vastly which is a very rewarding sign for the SAU-Vic Committee.

Again, thanks to everyone coming up to support the event in many ways that people did.

We will be having a chat about the event in coming weeks with the instructors and get to planning Drift for dummies #2.

We can see already many many ways to improve on the next event and give you guys MORE track/training time.

I would suggest if you arent a member of SAU-Vic you fast become one as i have a good feeling that our next event will sell out before it even goes public.

So just a tip to the members of the public who entered.

Thats it for me, i had a bloody excellent day as we had a convert in Adam to the Taco Bills margarita's... so that was my little training for an instructor :P

I'll let you guys do the rest, post the pics etc etc.

Thanks for an excellent day

Cheers - Ash

Hey there,

I was the chap in the white S14a today. Never drifted before (actually stuck my hand up during the briefing for never inducing it either!), but had a fantastic time clearing up witches hats etc with the underbody of my car (oh, and drifting of course). I've clearly established that I need a set of adjustable coilovers, and maybe 2-way wouldn't go astray either!

Glad to have signed up to become a member of SAU as well, hopefully I can make it to a few more of these events to have a bit more fun in my car :P

Cheers,

Theo

Thank you soooo much to everyone that helped out, organised it,had a go at doing it and came to watch.

I had the best time and learnt soo much i never thought i would have learnt. It has given me heaps of confidence in my driving and my car and i have walked away with some new knowledge and driving techniques.

Thanks again :P
