RB20DET front cut or conversion parts

I'm after an RB20DET front cut or:

engine

gearbox

electrics

tailshaft

radiator

air cond. and heater lines

clutch pedal, master and slave cylinders including lines

Basically everything required to put an RB20DET in my S13.

Dude, I got a complete RB20DET with a rattle in it, it's getting pulled down tomorrow. I didn't want to wait for re-build so I just threw another one in. It's got complete with all A/C, P/S, Alt, Starter, Inlet, Exhaust, GOOD Turbo, Injectors, fuel rail, clutch.... think that's it but maybe more??

Would you be able to give me a step by step guide on it if that's possible? And explain the wiring as I've heard horror stories about this.

I've never done an engine conversion before :confused: , this is my first time (only 17). But I'm keen to do it instead of paying someone else to work on my pride and joy.

Would be happy to. Only thing is that we installed a Microtech as well so I can't help you with the wiring sorry. What set up do you currently have (ca/sr/man/auto) etc. This will give me a better idea of what you need.

are you installing the red rocker cover 20 out or a HR31 skyline or the silver rocker cover 20 out of a R32 ??

if you are able to buy a HR31 front cut with brakes and suspension aswell i will buy the brakes of u, but if u r getting the R32 well then i miss out ..

I'm not sure yet Sato. I'm still looking. I'm aiming for an r32 one but if I get an r31 one at the right price I might buy it. I'll keep you posted.

ok well there are better convertions to do to a silvia, but for the money it'll cost to do a rb20 swap it is.

sr20det's are a good motor but you can't beat an rb engine
