Interior Dash Inserts Peeling

does anyone know of a quick way to remove the black stuff off dash inserts?

that happened to me. it was a painful process but i used a rag and a flathead screwdriver.

i EXTREMELY carefully scratched off the black stuff. u must be careful that u dont actually scratch the plastic underneath.

with my old r33 i used turps or thinners(cant remember 100%). anyway just wipe it over the surface lightly. the coating will start to peel and ripple (like when u use paint stripper on paint). when it starts to peel wipe it off quickly with a CLEAN rag, then lightly sand and repaint.
