Took it home plugged it in and all i get is 3 flashing lights on the front which means it has a hardware failure...f**king great. Back it goes. MacGuyver
My brother has had to return his 360 a second time after having it die on him after about 4 or so months of ownership. He 'got it fixed' and it lasted for another week before the second break down. He would be able to play the machine for about 5 minutes before it would either come up with a system error or just shut down and flash red lights around the power button. Poor value! MacGuyver
My brother was considering getting one of those intercoolers before his 360 carked it for the second time. I know someone else with a 360 who hasn't had any issues with it what so ever but he's only a casual gamer so maybe he hasn't played it enough to find the gremlins in the system yet. SKYLVIA
^^ what he said. theres a label that crosses the crease (dunno bout 360's but this is for ps2) and only way to open it is to cut that label. although im unsure if it peals off? predator
I don't believe legally they can refuse to honour a warranty if you have opened the case. If the thing is obviously damaged due to your own actions (flashing, etc), then they can refuse it.
