Sun visor

My car has a gay sun visor at the back, on top of the rear window. It's stuck on by some sort of glue or silicon. Any ideas how to get this off without ruining the paint underneath?

How could you tell ? Would it sneak closer to other visors in the car park when you were away ?

Well, to get it off, I read on the downunder forum to use a piece of fishing line to slice between the body and the visor (presuming its something like double-sided tape). Once you have it off, then maybe something like metho to soften and remove the adhesive on the bodywork.

Very nice supra !!!! On the side of what to use to get it off, fishing line sounds the trick if it is only a mild adhesive, I'd prolly try using diluted eucalyptus oil to get the remaining goop off your car first, if the fails use metho (had a few bad experiences with metho) .....
