daiken excedy performance clutch

hey,

i have heard alot about the daiken excedy performance clutch. i am undecided whether to go for that one or just the heavy duty one. what are the specs on either clutch?

clamping pressure increase, power rating, number of puks, materials, price, and of course streetablity/performance type.

all info is welcomed as i am looking to purchase one sometime next week. (are they better than the heavy duty 5 puk clutches).

i had an exceedy 5 pucker bb in my old GTST - it was awesome!

i recently drove a 6 puck bb jobbie in a GTR and that was very nice too - highly recommended.

I got a daiken 5 puck clutch installed in january.. Very good clutch!

how much it cost? is the 5 puk, is the one i am talking about?heavy duty sports performance one? i am unsure as they dont have a listing anywhere on there website, which kinda sucks.

but does anyone know the actual specs of the clutch. cause i rang up daiken twice, and they go. "we are a wholesaler, we 'll put you through to our retail lets". and they know nothing about em.

i just wanna know what they are rated at, how many puks, and any other significant details.

i been quoted 630+ gst, and 580+gst. inconsistancy in prices pisses me off.

5 puk brass button.. with 2000lb pressure plate or something

and can hold over 200rwkw or around there

thats not a great deal. i thought they were up around 230rwkw.

still sticking with the brass button idea, is there any clutch which could hold around 230rwkw. cause twin plate is just to damn expensive. or do i just get a heavier pressure plate.

I got quoted for a daiken h/duty full face organic with 2200lb pressure plate to hold 230rwkw street driven for $600?

Ive got a 3600 pound daiken excedy organic performance clutch.

Totally streetable and not even a hint of slippage with 286rwhp.

Ouch, I got ripped..... I paid $500 for mine. But now it has worn in it feels great, doesn't take long to wear in and your off and running.
