Has Anyone Used One Of These?

wondering if any one on here has seen/used one of these fumoto valves on their sump drain before as i am gonna get one to try.

and if any one has how well did it work was it easy to use etc?

Someone posted this up about 6 months ago.

The arguaments for NOT using them were that it sticks out too far, and could get sheared off easily, and that the thing would be too hot to touch. I think there were some doubts about whether it would drain properly too.

Not sure if you can find the post, there'd be a ton of trawling. I thought it was a handy idea... no more changing copper washers. Oh well!

ive never changed my copper washer and have never leaked oil? Thats like 4-5 oil changes so far...

thats for the slackest people ever i reckon honestly how hard is the sump plug to screw out? i'd be worried it would start leaking and getting ripped off like mentioned above.
