Al
Just spoke to my mechanic, and he has had NO trouble tunning the idle on an RB26. The placement of the vaccum/boost hose on the plenum is critical. He plumbs it into an existing nipple on the bottom of the plenum, as he beleives the MAP is more stable there. Al
Hey AL, was wondering where you got your Wolf 3D version 4 from and did they tune it???? I purchased the ecu from EAS Performance, Airport West (PM me for more details) and yes they have done all the tunning on the car. It is now running smoothly and am very happy with the results If you live in the East, go to Sabaddin (PM silva33 for address). He is also a Wolf distributor and have seen some very good tunes on various cars and ecu's. kingscorp
I have never seen a problem in our workshop with the Version 4 controling multiple throttle bodies even with very large cams. The V500 is an awsome ECU, It can even control costant changing cam timing. The list of things it can do is almost endless. Just wait until you see the software Dont blame the ECU if you cant set it up properly like alot of workshops do! The v500 software is downloadable from www.wolfems.com.au so check it out. Has heaps of adjustments. The datalogging isn't that great though. It looks like they used the v500 software to make the v400 just by removing some features. That's probably why it crashes a lot with a v4 ecu and the datalogging doesn't work correctly. The v500 does look like a great ecu. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/127579-wolfecu/page/2/#findComment-2454753 Share on other sites
