iamvinhy
A friend told me that a carpenter/cabinet maker would come in handy if you needed help - they can build the shape etc for you Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/127754-custom-style/#findComment-2361504 Share on other sites

frx026
yeah but i am in wa Dont you have cabinet makers etc in the west? But really, to describe how to custom mould dashes etc isnt exactly the easiest task, in fact a botched custom job will look awful. My advice, if you dont know what you are doing, dont try to get advice in words from a forum. Seek out the help of a professional custom installer, pay for his/ her time and end up with a car that is worth showing off, not hiding in shame. Take it from me, i've only been in the game 11yrs or so... Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/127754-custom-style/#findComment-2363336 Share on other sites

Hypn0tiK
yup, of course .. build a frame then lay it with carpet or something Best thing about custom - if you do it and yo dont like it change it Worst thing about custom - if it looks shit its your own fault not someone elses Best thing about tailor made - Will look sick in the end Worst thing about tailor made - Sometimes costs an arm and 2 legs + you might not like bright pink fibreglass with rainbow neons (just stating the obvious) Look at some examples of cars dude, checkout a civic or two, normally riced up to the max, and have some sweet installs. Even go see one, eg. look in autotrader for a civic with a custom stereo and pretend to buy it and checkout what he did.
