I could be at TAS 2007 too lads...

I'll make an official thread closer to the end of the year, and hopefully have a proper organised meet up point.

On the other hand if no ones interested just make sure you all agree on doing it or not doing it well in advance :(

lol, yes I've been at the waiting end of a few failed TAS meets :D

but plenty of succesful ones. in fact the only failed ones were meeting people of SAU.

You've got pretty small chance of ordering of buying wheels and shit at tas, but jackets, t-shirts, small things you can buy there.

Hmm, more incentive to go again in 2007! Would be great to see you there again Justin

The meet ups we have tried to organise the last 2 years have failed miserably so I gave up, besides trying to organise a group of more than 2 when exploring TAS is impossible.

I was hoping that I wouldnt be enticed to go and spend money yet again, but all this talk of TAS and Japan is getting me excited in special ways

Interesting, i'm thinking of going to japan around jan or feb, going to the snow.

so it tas is on it could be worth seeing. and i then i'd actually have something to book the rest of the holiday around!

will have to look into this.

flights to sapporo and 7 nights on the snow with breakfasts accom lift.. is around 2500.

Tho this is all up in the air at the moment! got a month in america in november. and not alot of money for anything other than that. plue i want a new car in january haha

Well I'll be at that JR Makuhari Station east(?) exit from about 9am to 9:30am... if you want to hook up, just yell out REZZ!!!!!! when you get there and then I can make a positive ID ... lol.

cool. I'll be wearing my nismo pass holder, and holding a can of boss coffee, possibly world executive blend, the coffee for over 30yo males according to suntory. :)

that's if I decided to go (cause I said I would give it a rest for 07, but no doubt I will end up there).

Nothing like a World Executive Blend to kick off the morning in the Makuhari cold.

Its all starting again damnit! Like Baron I didnt have the intention to go for 2007 but temptation is strong.

you can buy tickets from lawsons (convenience store chain like 7/11). it's a small discount if you buy from there too. but paying at the door is no big deal. it's not much money about $40 or something from memory.

friday could be worth going to as it's quieter. but for the full packed out TAS, pushing, shoving grabbing experience go on saturday or sunday too.

      Hi guys, Sorry to butt in and take it slightly off course, although still on the VCAM subject.  I had VCAM put into my Tomei 2.8 bottom end and I struggle to take off because the engine has very little torque caused by VERY low dynamic compression at 60psi. But once off the mark and especially on boost, the engine rev happily all the way to 8000rpm and makes 630hp at 20psi of boost on E85 at the rear hubs. Has anyone had any similar experience or any suggestions on what might cause this low compression at low rpm? I am in the process of converting it into a 8hp transmission and with this low torque, the engine would not even stay running until the throttle is opened to more than 30% and then I loose all vacuum.

      Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product

      They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.
