Hey ppls,

Well, I got myself a Radiator from Just Jap and it arrived a few hours ago.

It's now fitted and the car has been pressure tested and guess what...

No leaking!

No steam out the exhaust, no badness at all.

Thank goodness gracious!

Anywho. Just thought you all might want to know.

BASS OUT

(I'm off to pick up some radiator guides)

Why must hte oil be changed? Is this because of the new intercooler? Or was there something else that happend to bassjunky's car?

He basically cooked the oil, temps were massive and then didnt get a chance to cool them down once the radiator let go as you cant drive the car :(

So the oil just sat there boiling away in the nice steamy confines of his motor :(

The oil "might" be ok, but that sorta stuff isnt worth the hassle for the sake of 5 ltrs of oil and half an hour of your life.

Easier to change it and not worry about running degraded oil in a motor for X,XXX km's
