What the disadvantage of buying "fake" rims as apposed to the brand names? Are they less durable or warp or something?

Not at all. There are no issues with construction quality.

They are cast instead of forged items.

It is like buying Lenso copies of Volk TE37s or similar.

If you want the genuine forged item, then you would pay a similar price for the set, but per wheel.
