240$ is too cheap for the new 4000 series with the new compound disc rotors. It sounds like you got a price for DBA longlife Gold rotors, which also come crossed and slotted, but are the old compound which is apparently no where near as good as the new one used in the 4000 series.

I think the NEW 4000 series crossed/slotted RETAIL at around 400 bucks a pop.

(as i dont think the new 4000's are gold, they are black around the hub and the outer vented surface, and have those Temperature indicating paint spots)
