hi guyes

the thing overheated and now it wont start :D , it turns over a faster than usual and still wont start . ive come here for some help

things i have checked are

cam is turning as seen through the oil filler hole

turn on key to run and fuel pump is working and feeling the fuel lines they swell so i asume pressure is good

fuses are all good

crank engine and injectors feel as though they are firing good .. all of them..

im thinking the injectors wouldent fire if the ign pickup was dead .is this corect???

it is all looking to me as though there is no spark

will all the ignitor modules fail at once with extreme heat???

could i have fouled plugs??

Turns over faster than usual?

cast block.... alloy head. Sound like expensive compression issues to me - as in a warped head.

compression test...

of course, the igniters do get pretty hot, so its probably worth the time to pull a cupld of plugs and check for firing. Also, in the mean time, someone with more of an idea may reply... I still say warped head. how overheated was it?

compression test...

how overheated was it?

I have to echo what ebola said. You should conduct a compression test as a rough check that the head is still sealing.

And when you say overheated, do you mean there was steam under the bonnet or did the water temp gauge actually move into the wrong side of the dial?
