Different Fuel

hey guys,

i just got home now and i poured moble 8000 cause i wouldnt get to a BP in time, the car coffed a little bit and i could hear detonation slightly under load, anyone know why this could be ?

Well the fuel obviously.

could have been the tanker left the servo 5 mins before you and stirred a bit of crap up.

Just get another batch of fuel in a few days and take it easy

Either that or your fuel pump has just about seen its last day

as far as i know mobil 8000 is better octane then bp ultimate? so why would it detonate? or is that mobil synergy? 99octane?

does mobil 8000 contain ethenol? if so i would be banking on that if you're running aftermarket management.

I think mobil 8000 is only 96 RON, but IIRC Bp ultimate is 98 RON.

Though, I admit, I don't usually go for mobil.

Stick with BP Ultimate

My tuner said to use only Bp Ultimate and sees real gains with Bp extreme, I once had such a bad load of fuel that it blocked the filter, the servo was on empty but had no interest in my problem.

Take it easy if it is starting to ping. Don't rev the car or hit boost. You'll end up leaning the girl out and have a rebuild on your hands.

I put bad fuel into my car and she has been off the road for 2+ months now cause I didn't know any better.

Use the correct fuel, and if you can't get there, just put enough in to get you to the right fuel.
