Castor Rod Install

gday all any help im currently removing the castor rods on the skyline and having trouble removing the bolt which goes through the bush is there a special way to take it off ,or is there a pin in the end of it. Its giving me the shits possible the bolt could be snapped im not sure any ideas

just a normal bolt. You'll need 2 x 17mm wrenches so you can hold the other end while you turn one end. All i can suggest is use some wd-40 and a breaker bar

You've got the nut off?

Hammer time. It'll be under a bit of tension so reluctant to just slide out.

Easy job. come on arbess, it's only 3 bolts a side!

i've lost track of how many castor rods i've changed

if you have the nut removed, then i find a phillips head screw driver on the center of the bolt and a mallet does the job, you can also try moving the control arm around a bit while you do it.

Turns out the bolt was f**ked and there was no possibility of it coming of with 2 spanners had to hacksaw it out and get a newie
