Wink
Plumb it back so the air expelled from the BOV gets fed back into the air intake. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/128314-stupid-flutter/#findComment-2371520 Share on other sites

LTHLRB
the nipple on the bov should have a hose connecting onto the intake manifold, the outlet/mouth of the bov should be plumbed into the intake pipe/hose on the mouth of your turbo. The bov its self bolts onto your crossover intercooler pipe. Wink
The exit of the BOV (circled in red) should have a hose going from it back into the intake pipe (the large pipe which the air filter is connected to) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/128314-stupid-flutter/#findComment-2371609 Share on other sites

R34NRG
but thats wat im trying to fix....i dont wanna hear that flutter noise because its drowning out my BOV (wooosh) sound. i want to hear the BOV not the flutter Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/128314-stupid-flutter/#findComment-2371654 Share on other sites
Wink
You can't - the flutter noise comes from the BOV. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/128314-stupid-flutter/#findComment-2371656 Share on other sites
R34NRG
.....hrmmm maybe im not gettin something but before i had the power intake installed my BOV made a totally different sound... RaseR
OMG - The flutter sound does not come from the BOV....It just means your aftermarket BOV is set too tightly and most of the air is reversing back through the turbo getting chopped up by the impeller hence the 'flutter' sound...You couldn't hear it b4 because your airbox muffled the sound. Back off the adjustment of your BOV to make it open up earlier and your flutter will be gone....even better chuck on the std BOV, they're pretty good until you start running high boost levels.
