lol satanic, i was actually quite surprised when people said flutter is caused by the BOV. :P

I myself use the HKS ssqv. I do get a soft flutter sometimes if i release my throttle at low revs but once i rev it higher than about 2300rpm? I get the loud noise from my ssqv.

Those who wants real flutter, try taking out your BOV or plumb it back. It'll sound like a VL Commo in no time!

Here is a reply I prepared earlier on FFF.

End of Flutter related threads..

Cheers

I was hoping youd bring that over here......

:D

plumback bov so you dont get bov noise... and mount the bov parralel to the throttlebody so as the air bounces off the TB back down the piping it will be in direct line of the bov

ie... if you are using standard elbow for rb20/25

why is this still going? my post was short sharp and too the point...

compressed air has no where to go when the throttlebody is shut (car 101 - throttlebody closes when you take your foot off the accel pedal)

it bounces back down your cooler piping to your turbo and comes out your pod... if you have an airbox you would still have flutter - you just cant hear it

by having no bov, a bov not mounted correctly, a pod/no filter at all or an aftermarket bov which is not plumbed back and not in the right location - you will have flutter

to fix this... mount bov directly inline with the throttlebody and plumb it back into the cooler piping before the turbo

END OF DISCUSSION :P

What I said... but less words!

i had the same bov and at 1st the spring was too tight making it flutter a little bit coz air would be goin back thru the intake, losened the spring a bit and it was fine, also to not i had the stock bov andit fluttered an was plumbed back into the intake only at low revs though, so i dont think that makes a difference...

As far as I am concerned it is your wastegate???

LOL ok, learn how a wastegate works then think about ur answer...
