Hi,

Replaced the Crank Angle Sensor (CAS) on my R32 RB26 and now the car won't start. I've tried adjusting the timing but it still won't start. It cranks, but won't go any further. Same story when the old CAS is plugged back in. Is there a trick to this? Something I'm missing?

Help appreciated. I was hoping that I could just adjust the CAS until it idles, then adjust the timing to suit, but it doesn't appear this is going to work.

Thanks,

Brad

You must be doing something else wrong. Make sure you have not snapped off the locating half dowel on the cam end. If you have then you can put the CAS in any position and it will not start until you get it right.

Arrrrr crap thats what i have done got it to start but is running very rich thanks for help will try some more times over the weekend to get it in the right spot. Looks like time for some PONCAMs

Thanks Brad
