Rb20 Rear Sump/oil Pan

putting an rb20det into my 3 series, and just tonight we went to put the motor in, and much to our disgrace the sump on the rb20 in on the front.. more to the point, it's right in the way of where my steering rack and swaybar is on the bmw.. does anyone know of a rear sump that would fit the rb20, short of having to refab the old one??

any help appreciated. ta.

Nissan patrol GQ series with the rb30, they are a reverse sump.

May have to do something with the pick-up but should still fit.

It's the 200ZR (I, II or III) that has the RB20DET with the rear bowl sump. Basically a Z31 with RB20DET. New sumps can still be had on order from Nissan (well, last time a checked) and are $300-$400 with the pick-up.

RB30S in Patrol also has rear bowl sump which can be used, but that sump is quite 'deep' and might need mods depending on the application.
