that chassis number looks far to early to be a vspec. it wouldnt show up in my fast, but i'm going to guess its an 89 model.

vspec was not released until 1993, and vspecII in 1994. so you wont see any genuine vspecs with an earlier year than that

Correct. That vehicle is an 08/89 build.

'B' in the model number means v spec, 'X' means standard GTR. It also says "GTR.17" where the 17 refers to the wheel size (which im guessing, although all regular GTRs just say "GTR")
