Doesnt come up on mine as well, model code indicates it is a Vspec (not sure what version), made in Feb 2001. I thought the NUR version was 2002 ? More qu's need to be asked I suspect.

Mine also doesnt come up on 2008 Jap FAST as well, as i suspect some are deleted from Nissan's database when they are exported.

How about this one

BNR34-403508

again nothing, sorry :D

however i did find out that with 34 GTR's my last recorded vin is

BNR34 - 402137 and anything bigger than that number is not on there.

that vin shows manufacture in July 2001 so i'm guessing the version i have has not been updated since...

Again nothing too, but the ones either side, ...507 and ...509 are Vspec 2 NUR versions and manufactured in May 2002. So odds on ..508 is same.

Use this link to decode your model code

http://www.users.on.net/~goofyhsk/info/chassis_plate.html

It will help you decode everything except the last 4 letters, L, M, Z, G. The following is what i wrote back on page 39 of this thread about 10 posts down if you want to see my entire post.

I have been doing a lot of searching around on the forums for the answer to what the last letters mean on the model codes for the early model r32 GTR's (L,M,Z and G).

cameronbnr32 and garrysandy the only info i could find for you guys (and any one else wondering) was a post from funkymonkey back in 2004.

From what i read the letters L and M, which occupy Positions 8 + 9 in the model code, are known as VS Sign (VS Options)...

L means it has Projector Headlights

M means it has both climate comtrol + upgraded stereo

Letters Z and G occupy Positions 10 + 11 in the model code and are known as Pack Sign (Package Extras Sign)...

Z Im still not sure what it means but some guys believe it might be to do with the interior trim. RellikZephyr Thought Z = Black Interior Trim.

Cant be confirmed unless funkymonkey or someone else knows for sure what it means.

G from what i found means ABS and a Viscous LSD

Hope that helps a lil.

Was this ever expanded upon? My car has one of those odd model codes.

KBNR32RXFSLMZG

Strangely this gives a build date of 6/90 rather than the FAST 10/89 for my chassis BNR32002505:

http://fteqw.com/moodles/model-decoder.php...amp;chassis_no=

This doesn't give all the answers either. So weird. :)

As far as i know there is no date information in the Model Code, so 10/89 it is.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
