post-26133-1154489875.jpgpost-26133-1154489917.jpghi all

i was doin some stuff in the rear of the wagon thew other day and bashed my head on one of the standard child restraints they install for compliance, and after all the swearing stopped i had a look at them and noticed they were a pretty ordinary setup.

so i went to the local ford dealer and had a look at some of their ones and found some neater ones that fit straight in for only $5 each heres a couple pics of the before and after.

and if anyone is interested they are available in several colours.

and the part number is EE N613D26 A1

hehehe i must be lucky..i already have ones like that from compliance! (they actually did one thing right) Mine are pretty much the same except i have a covering that goes over them and the bolt bit doesnt stick out that much! ;)

Trying to make my car look neater with them...hard to do when all you see in my mirror is two babyseat belts hanging from your roof :woot:

ska was your car brought in under sevs or the old rules?

reason I ask is that under sevs there needs to be a child safety anchor point for all seats for it to comply which is why the roof is the position of choice these days

Mine have a neat, flip-down cover on them so they look less dodgy when they're not being used. I'd take photos but my digital camera recently died, and the camera on my phone doesn't take good night-shots.

I dont know......................? There are a lot of "things" in/on my car that either shouldnt be there or.... yeah, things....
