I would like to know what is the different between the auto and manual version of a R33 GTST, as i am looking at getting a auto (got offer a very good deal) and then converting to a manual!

so apart from the gearbox is the diff / gear / computer different?

also do they have differen spec in the engine? or use different computer?

etc, so just anything else that you can think of!

thanks guys .... any help will be very much appreicated!

cheers

have you tried searching?

I think the ecus are different as the computer has to handle the auto gear changes. not positive on that tho.

then theres the usual interior stuff like gear surrounds, clutch, pedals etc etc

Thanz guys for the input!

SO I would like to know more on the different in the DIFF!!!

is this important/significant in terms of performance/strength???

Do they have the same final drive gear ratio?

Cheers

Where does it say that there is a power difference from auto to manual? I was under the impression that they all have the same flywheel figures regardless.

Nah he's right.. Auto's have 180kW/275Nm

Yep, i've got it in an article somewhere...

sure?

i thought power levels were the same

obviously it would have less at the wheels due to extra drivetrain losses..

i want proof...

well i cant find the articles

i have no reason to lie about it...

the article was all about s1's, probably back when they were still new-ish...auto 180kw, manual (whats a series 1 engine put out? 184-185kw?)
