Diff Different Between Auto And Manual R33 ?

I would like to know what is the different between the auto and manual version of a R33 GTST, as i am looking at getting a auto (got offer a very good deal) and then converting to a manual!

so apart from the gearbox is the diff / gear / computer different?

also do they have differen spec in the engine? or use different computer?

etc, so just anything else that you can think of!

I think the ecus are different as the computer has to handle the auto gear changes. not positive on that tho.

then theres the usual interior stuff like gear surrounds, clutch, pedals etc etc

Actually a auto computer can be used in a manual car but not the other way around

Manual conversions can be found for 2.5k using a rb25 manual box and new HD organic clutch

Diff ratio's are also different. Still LSD and all, can get around this by calibrating your speedo.

Everything else is exactly the same (apart form what was prviously stated about computer.

slight power difference from auto to manual as well

180kw vs 187kw ...auto-manual..

might be less of a difference in series 1's

the article was all about s1's, probably back when they were still new-ish...auto 180kw, manual (whats a series 1 engine put out? 184-185kw?)

183.88 kw / 6400 rpm

294.20 N*m / 4800 rpm

I believe the diff ratios are:

Auto - 4.3:1

Manual - 4.1:1

makes sense..pretty sure series 1's are 184kw and series 2 are 187 (manual)

Keep in mind people not every r33 skyline will make the same power they will vary 5-10% either way of their rated figure
