reminds me of this happening not so long ago. think it was at WSID too, and a 32 GTR, and the same type of clutch/flywheel. you must have been shaking like a mofo after that.

seems like a blanket is good insurance!

Taking it in next tue/wed for gearbox out (and engine if required) so we can workout exactly how much damaged was caused.

All over red rover. Got it towed to the mechanics today and put it up on the hoist, i've never seen 3 mechanics so speechless in all my life.

Chassis rail, firewall, block, sump, front and dump pipes are all very damaged and any nearby hoses, wires, lines etc are all ruined. Actual gearbox looks fine but bellhousing is gone and not 1 single piece of flywheel left.
