Turbo/engine Problem? :s

I dunno if i posted this in right section sorry if I did.

Anywas I was just comming home from a mates house and excelerated up, I was at pretty high Revs In second (AUTO BOX) i flicked the overdrive swith then a few seconds later the power button.

Almost instantly I lost all boost vacum went to -7 and the car lost power and slowed down.

I took it easy until i got home poped the bonnet and i could hear a pshhhhhhhhh noise comming from engine.

It dosnt sound too good I just wanted to know if anyone had any idea if i have stuffed anything up and how bad it is.

My Engine is RB25DET and Car is completly stock!

cooler piping or cooler piping joiners

check them all, use soapy water and look for bubbles to find leaks

Had the same problem, jus wasnt sure whether u had aftamarket cooler or not so didnt want to say nething

My car is completly stock by the way. Going to check all my hoses and stuff sounds like somethng is definetly leaking

yeah man just a blown hose (a major one that is, not a pissy little vac hose) by the sounds of it...same thing happened to me but my BOV wasn't sealed properly so there was a dirty big vac leak once i fixed that it was all good...

Thanks guys, I had another look at it tonite still cant find it. Its comming from the left hand side somewhere hard to see if anything is squirting out air when the fan is blowing going to get mechanic to look at it sometime this week.

go buy a can of aerostart and spray it all around where the sound is coming from. When you hear the idle change, you will find your leak.

Ok sounds interesting, can u please eplain to me what exactly it does? liek does it seal the leak temporly or something?

aerostart is like a gas, you'll find the car will run differently as its getting some of that gas into the system...
