R32 R200 Diff

Yo people,

My R32 GTS4 rear diff started making a whining noise, gets louder as speed increases.

Mechanic says the diff is gone and no one in melb will reco mine under $1000-crazy huh?

Now I know I can change parts between diffs, so now I need any R200 short nose in good condition and I'll swap my GTS4 stuff into it. Anyone in Melbourne with a diff for sale can either reply here or pm me.

It's a 4.375 ratio. Only have a front one, after Stagea ratio swap - Sorry.

$1000 you could almost get a Kaaz mech for that?

^^^ True that! A sponsor offered me a Kaaz mech diff for $1050 delivered. I only wanted to spend $250-$300 to get the diff, so all up including labour and oil I only want to spend $500. Maybe i'm being unreasonable. Does anyone know if a GTR rear diff will go in?
