so...... dumb question here......probably been asked a million times before aswell, but its sunday morning and im bored so im gonna ask it anyways.....

what is the technical performance difference between the split and the bell mouth? appart from the obvious different design, and i dont mean power figures.

like faster spool with one over the other.. or one makes better power when at full song

would the extra turbulence from the bell mouth setup really make a difference? or are the differences with the split only noticable when running really high boost levels ie: 20+ psi therefore making it wankfactor status to the general skyline user.

sorry to drag up an old thread but rather then make a new one.

i have the same dumb question as above, is it worth forking out extra of the split as opposed to the bellmouth. i'm just a daily driver who give it abit every now and again, standard boost and that prolly wont change while i have the car.

looking at getting the Xforce mild steel 3'' Turbo back system http://www.xforce.com.au/cars/view_car/13

thanks guys.
