R32 Gtst Diff

Just looking under my car, after looking at some others, and i noticed the rear plate on the diff is finned. Does this have some significance or is it just a variation. I read some where that the Vspec diffs are finned so its got mu curiousity up. Any difference from a finned diff to a non finned diff.

do you know if the other ones that you have looked at are LSD ones. im gessing that if there is a difference than maybe fined ones are LSD and the others arnt?

Pretty sure all are finned? The only way to tell if yours is different is to crack her open and look at the centre!! For all we know you could have a 2-way inside a stock r200 casing..

hmm, probably should have made myself a little clearer. The others i looked under were 33's. I know its wrong to assume but i thought they would be the same, Then i read that the Vspec ones were finned and it made me wonder. Seems all the 32's are finned.
