Carbon Bonnets S1 And S2

ive got a guy out near penrith that currently makes carbon bonnets for various cars and owns a stagea himself.hes talking around a $1000 depending on what you want,if we can get 5 in total.

also im giving him my centre console so he can mould a fibreglass one that fits a s1 auto perfect with a hand brake.anyone interested in these let me know,they will be heaps cheaper than a nissan one.

it is lighter,although the only reason i want one is to put a vent in it to release heat from the engine.oh and wank value!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically my stock R34 bonnet =26kg. my carbon bonnet = 4.5kg

boot lid = 24kg down to 3kg

us ut for a wet or dry carbon? are we allowed to change the boot lid to a CF? Also is the CF bonnet vented? show us some pics of his wirks

we have to workout a design.he can then make the bonnet out of different materials (glass/carbon) but they will have to be one design.

i dont want anything too radical just a small reverse scoop to realese hot air from the engine.ill try and find some pics,or if anyones got ideas?

probably you want a couple of vents in front and the reverse scoop or somethign to let the air flow back out again

ok i have checked it out looks good. Buy again damn it cant read japamese. all i can tell is th rpice on it. It looks like its a wet carbon though

I can read a bit of japanese,it's a wet carbon top layer,with FRP bracing. it's in black gel coat,and includes the bonnet support mounts.
