Slow Azz Freeway

Noticed this morning while crawling along the freeway that my water temp rose from about 87 degrees (which is what I usually see while normal driving) to 91-92 degrees.

Just wondering if that sounds high to anyone else and what your water temp is usually sitting on.

hey buddy...that sounds perfectly normal. I don't have a water temp gauge but I do have an oil one. Normal driving I'd see anywhere around 80degs and water temps are a little higher than the oil temp. Spirited driving I'd see 90degs and over.

Cheers Ant... I thought it was caused by the slow driving (ie 20Km/h) constantly...

mine sits on 1/3rd.

the slow driving with minimal air passing through the radiator is what will cause the temperatures to rise, however its nothing to be concerned about.

My trusty A'PEXi hand controller tells me 81deg. A very solid 81deg.

Yeah I get mine off the hand controller also....yours sits on 81 hey?? I just thought the jump of around 4 degrees was a bit extreme...didn't effect the drivability though..

temps should fluctuate slightly by a few degrees according to driving conditions. my hand controller also tells me 81 deg...most of the time

mine goes from 70 to 96.ive got a 68degrees thermostat.on the highway it sits at 70.hard driving its at 82.sitting in traffic it hits 96 then the thermo fan kicks in
