hmmm, so, say i was thinking of selling my car?

1996 R33 GTSt Series 2, Black 60,000 k's

how much should i ask for it - i dont wanna ask too much, but, on the other hand, i dont wanna ask too little? im thinking of advertising in the next few weeks - trading post etc...

It's as my signature says, with an Apex'i Timer, and thats about it - oh yeah, and aussie spec head unit

I know that this brings the subjective element into play, but, it is in immaculate condition - ie interior, paint etc... he he but then again, i no everyone says that...

so, opinions?...

Thanks everyone

MrR33: First peice of advice I can give you is ignore the critics that think your price is to high. There are many critics out there that think they can buy it from some other guy or direct from japan at a fraction of the cost.

As a guide, GOOD quality low km' series 2's (there arent many in the good category) sell for up to $29,000 at a dealer - bear in mind they provide warranty and some peace of mind as opposed to buying private.

If your car contains minimal mods, I would advertise for $25,000

You know what condition your car is in and therefore how much you should get.

I recently sold my 1996 model and was fortunate enough to find a buyer that appreciated the car and loved it and got the price I wanted. (> $30K). The car had 60,000kms on the clock, recaros, 18 inch wheels, carbon bonnet etc.

Hopefully you arent in a rush to sell, the market isnt easy at the moment either

Best of luck with the sale

Hey there

I bought my line in december (94 ser 1) I searched high and low to get a good deal for an r33 and paid 22, although this was from a dealer with 3 yr warranty. It came with new blowoff, dual boost and air pod, an exhaust, sunroof, kit, mags and 66k. it was a good price at the time, and i guess it still is good value. however this is a series 1, and Im not sure on series 2 prices, but just thought I would post to give you an idea.
