Just wondering if anyone knows how to get that little strip of plastic just above top of the windows (runs from top of B-pillar to the base of the A-pillar) on R32s from a faded grey back to nice, dark, glossy/matt black like factory? (and the one on the sill, too [mines a bit patchy]- Though it looks like different material)

I snapped mine in half getting out the car!. Would also like to know how to remove them and not leave worn sticky rubber seals. Back to your question maybe mask the area really well and use a tinting spray like night shades to paint them.

Meguiars Shine Magic on the thin porous portion and car polish on the gloss black portion.

Worked a treat.

The Shine Magic takes a few applications to keep a lasting finish. Also worked wonders on my internal door handles.
