I plan for it to be an all round car, street, drift, drags, track, and shows.

I've had the car only 12 months, mite take a couple of years but thats the intension to build an all rounder.

I have coil overs and wheels comming next month.

The car is currently sitting in the workshop , im completing the next series of modifications.

Bit of a decent update,

Im going to include alot more pics this time just to give you guys an idea on how much work goes into getting things perfect. So much work goes into aftermarket products to make them fit like oem products.

Heres a few pics of my cf boot, the carbon has been laid perfect but the underside moulding was terribly out of shape cause the boot to fit okay but nowhere near the standard I want to achieve for this car. So i had to cut and remove the shape out of the boot and remould it to fit perfect, this took hours and hours of work to get right. What I ended up with is a perfect fitting cf boot which is really hard to get.

Reshaping of the boot, this was only the first stage I didnt get pics of the next stage.

Just a tip i found with taking pics of my car in sunlight; as your car also seems to have a pearl.

With my camera i have to press the button half way to focus, then continue pressing it to take the photo. If yours is the same, try to focus on something lighter (whiter) that is roughly the same distance from your car, then turn the lens to your car to take the photo. I found that the pearl "fools" the camera and the pic ends up over exposed.

Just to show you an example, i've added two pics of photos of my car.

This first i focused on my car, you can see the shot is totally over exposed. Have a look at the white 33 in the left corner, and the sandy gravel.

This second pic i focused on the white car, and i prefer to see my paint colour in this type of shade.

    • No not yet.  Hopefully this weekend if I can pluck up the confidence!  I had to sit in the car at one point yesterday to unbolt the rear struts.  As mentioned in an earlier post when I was putting it together there is still a bit of rotation possible so when I sat in the car, it rotated a little bit.  I near shit myself thinking the whole thing was coming down!  I do 99% of my own shit in the shed but I think I might call on some assistance the first time I spin it!
    • Strong first post. On a Skyline-centric forum. Have you considered actually going out into the world, visiting the actual dealership, and asking the parts guy over the counter? Or at least just call them up on the phone?
    • Should shit that in as for the driver ability probably not
    • Trying to find the plastic under cover for an 04' Forester X. The main under cover that covers most of the front of the vehicle under the engine. This has turned out to be a crazy experience. Normally I can find parts for vehicles, if I have the correct info, no problem. But not this! The Forester is a non-turbo btw. In a Forester parts catalog, for model years 03'-06', it shows part# 56410SA070 as being the correct part. So I go to the local Subaru dealership's website to order it. I type in the part#, hit search and there it is, the under cover. "DOES THIS PART FIT YOUR VEHICLE?" I type in my VIN# and sure enough, "This Part Does Not Fit Your Vehicle. See Similar Parts For Your Vehicle." I click on that and part# 56410SA000 comes up. Looks absolutely nothing like the previous part. Not even close. So I go to a different Subaru dealer website and put in that 2nd part# (56410SA000) and "This Part Has Been Replaced By" 56410SA070, which is the first part I looked up. I thought OK, makes sense. They replaced the strange looking part, with the one I looked up first, so I add it to the cart. "Does This Part Fit Your Vehicle?" I type in my VIN#, and sure enough, "This Part Does Not Fit Your Vehicle." I've basically been doing this with various parts suppliers and dealerships, for the past 4 hours! Does anyone know what the hell is going on?? Thanks in advance!
