Pod Filter Bracket

installed my pod filter a while back...but it never came with some sort of brace to hold it in place...and its just kinda hanging there.

anything i can do about it?

they are universal.

shit easy to make tho, can use anything, i made one for my r31 and it was piss easy

Bunnings sell "make a bracket" for $1.95 for a piece thats a metre long

I think i have seen them. Looked easy to do as it had heaps of bends that could be used.

i just used a piece of light steel to anchor it to a point where the old box used to screwed down on; however on the weekend a got my self a piece colorbond steel and "fabricated" a sheild that seperates the pod from the rest of the engine bay, the sheild also used the same airbox points to bolt down on to, basically the sheild passes through the pod and afm which holds down the pod.

The bracket also has holes every couple of centremetres. You can use your exiting standard airbox nut and bolts for it

Anyone know how you would secure a pod that has a stainless steel intake pipe? I just want to do something to keep the police happy when they took a look, im guessing some zip ties with a fair bit of slack (How much?)
