it varies depending on so many things with the turbo, like what oil has been through it, has it been regularly been sreviced ( mine was running 15psi with front mount and had no issues). But with that intercooler i agree no more than 10psi.

to be safe id say 10, becuase things go wrong,

and its not a perfect world

i mean why push it to the max if you want to to last

if you want to see how long it will hold up for, run 15 and see what happens

ALSO METAL HEAD GASKETS FTW!

well, if it f**ks up, time for an engine rebuild..........im sure some famous workshops can do their rebuilds properly for less than 15ks.

on the other hand pushing the stock motor too far will only cause you problems, unexpected ones coming from experience.....

so dont wind your boost up too high, dont tune the car too agreesively, dont bolt on a turbo which is too big for the motor to handle....

I upped the boost to 12psi and the ecu was shite!! Missing all over the place and wasn't pretty. New aftermarket ecu and same boost = tons more kw!!! Very happy. Now to find some decent coil packs before I go mad.

Seems every step you take causes something else to reach it's limit.

Firstlly Id run a search as this topic is one of the most common topics covered here at SAU...

Plus id do the search in the forced induction part of the forum as the max psi levels here in QLD are the same as everywhere else...

That aside,

I ran 14psi on a stock turbo but this was with everything else in place and a perfect tune...

I would not suggest it on a stock ecu tho...

I cant remember if its .7 bar or 7 psi standed. but the turbo can run safly without any problem at .9 or 9 psi without ever suffering any problems related to turbo wear and or over heating due to oil temp.

This was an offical release from the nissan motor sports unit where they are made.

You should probly do a google on it but I know 100% that it is within that range that it is totaly safe.

you will need a new ecu, fmic, exhust turbo back + dump pipe, HD cluch, maybe injectors, new fuel pump and mostly 15 psi comfortably a hiflow turbo or a new turbo and a good tune and might pull about 220 to 240 kwrw

Thats the answer i like to hear soon as i get a turbo 33 or 34 depends how much money im willing to for out i will be following your list ive actually copy pasted it and saved it in a note pad file. thx heaps
