^^^^^^^^^ with some luck^^^^^^^^^^

And what is that supposed to mean?? My R33GTS-T is running 12 pound and has everything on the list EXCEPT the new turbo and I am running an easy 205 rwkw. I could push it further but it is a daily driver so it is in a safe region of tune.

lol u seem to be learning a lot every day.....good on ya

Ahahah learning is good, its excellent lots of people here really know there stuff so where better to ask questions, ive looking at prices like on average how much it would cost me just for parts without labour and i decided it would just be easier to by a skyline with everything on it.

Do yourself a favor and stay stock the car's already a weapon. Now just add those little things that make it look grate and ride how you want it. GTS-T power isnt that bad to start with.

Thats so true a mate of mine has a 33 gts-t and that thing flies according to me and its stocko.

but who knows when the stock turbo/turbos will let go????pushing it too hard will definately decrease its lifespan.....especially when its got ceramic wheels. that is something you can not control.

only with lower compression can you run that kind of boost

eg: a metal head gasket

u can run whatever the thickness of the gasket is

eg; 1.8mm gasket=up to 1.8bar of boost

this is refering to a stock engine internals setup and many 9 or 10 second cars in usa etc run stock internals and massive boost

incorrect

you have to have all the correct measures inplace to run bigger boost like 20psi+ injectors, computer, front mount, big fuel pump and fuel system is probably most crytical to stopping detonation. and a good tune. from what i know anyway.....correct me if im wrong.

with a healthy motor. Ull just need a fuel pump, fmic, full turbo back exhaust, 11psi, air filter :P 200+rwkw wont be hard to see :D

Ahhh thats good to hear because after a certain amount of kw's you gotta start upgrading brakes suspension etc etc cause traction starts to get a little dodgy and i dont wanna spend that much money 200 rwkw would make me happy.

You know, I agree 100%. When i was buying the thing I thought I would mod it, but now I have decided why, its quick enough stock and I love the idea of reliability. Will be staying stock engine wise for sure, not really interested in spending money on it at all now, maybe fix the silly low ride height and it will be plenty.

i just wich the stock turbo had a steel exhaust wheel. mine pulls like a train on stock turbo at 14psi. i have a remapped ecu. on the stock ecu and at 12psi i got 204kw. and 14psi feels noticably faster. i'm just saving up for a new turbo. i would like to get to about 230kw..... till i get there, then i'll want more. when i forst got it i said that i'd be happy with 200kw. now that i'm at 200kw i want more.

when i got the car it was bog stock and i found it dissapointing compared to my last car. i thought it was going to be quicker (my last car had about the same power as a stock r33). then i stuck an exhaust on. it was a bit better. then some more boost. then i stuck a fmic on it. better again, but still not enough. did dump pipe and cat. then dyno'd at 204kw. then got a hold of a remapped ecu. made a tiny difference. then screwed some more boost into. its fun now, but could be a bit better.

get it to wheelspin uncontrollably, then screw in another 5psi!

jus get urself a set of dba slotted discs and blitz pads for ultimate stopping power. I have a set of coil overs in my car with drift pineapples and what not in my car. Traction isnt an issue  unless u dump 2nd at 6,000rpm then you will be in trouble. But none the less. Puts power down very well, Handle awesome on the street. Very safe and reliable 200+kw

you can still build a highly-modified car with reliability at the same time, as long as the right things got done by the right people.......

Yeah you just have to be willing to spend the money to do it right the first time, but I figure by that time I could just get something which is quicker stock out of the box

I feel that a lot of mods are a compromise though, like heavy clutches, tight diffs and hard suspension being a compromise on drivability and comfort, aftermarket ecu's being a compromise on some factory drivability features and fuel consumption etc.

Its all and good if you like these things are willing to accept them, but I just feel i dont really have the time of day for them any more.

yep , the RIGHT things by the RIGHT PEOPLE being the key words there
