Hey,

My clutch literally just blew up this arvo and i am in the lookout for a new one...

But the question remains which one should i get and which style...

I have been recommended to get an extra heavey duty one over a brass button one or twin plates... Brands recommended also were Xtreme and Xedey... (also interested in a light weight flywheel)

Anyone had experiences with these clutches or advice would be greatly appreciated as soon as possible please...

And anywhere cheap in Wollongong to find one or on ebay? (suggested prices would help too...)

Please help me out when you get a chance..

Thanks in advance,

Jake

It's a sprung centre so it's still very driveable.

It doesn't have a name like mass-produced shite brand-name clutches. It holds 265kW to the tyres and works well enough to snap axles instead of slipping.

If you want to come for a drive and see what it's like, call me cos the box will be out of it shortly.

Second hand mate - it's in the car now.

You could get it rebuilt if you REALLY wanted to for about $400 and it'd be like new - that's what it drives like now anyway though, mate. It's a cheap way to get out of a hole and when you can afford to rebuild it, by all means do so. I can put you in touch with Jim if required and the best thing is, you wont need another clutch ever again. Paul's TWO06L GTR on this forum had one of these that held over 600hp @ all four tyres!

It's up to you.
