F.e.a.r Multiplayer Goes Free

Pretty interesting.. they're releasing F.E.A.R Combat, the multiplayer component totally free in a week or so for free download for PC.

Guess they're trying to make it a cult following, along the lines of Counter Strike, etc.

Wouldn't mind getting back into it, after I sold the game to some @#$@#$ on ebay who never paid me for it

stoopid thing.. counter is on big fat zero and nothing.. it looks like it's based on your system clock, not a proper server time.

embarassing for the publishers if you ask me, to allow it to happen.

I tried to get the online cd key, but it stops at step 1, saying enter zip code when i already have???

edit/ u need a 5 digit postcode....when aus only has 4

hmmmm. If it's free i might get it. I remember playing the single player game for a bit but it didn't run the best on my computer.

Played it for about 30min last night......

VERY INTERESTING! Extremely fast paced too which is awesome!

I really enjoyed it for the short time i played it!

it does require some heavy resources, but runs ok on my older spec pc..

The levels are pretty tight, and it's easy to get into.. only played it for a couple of sessions though.. got too much other stuff on at the moment
