Good call/find Howie !!

I've had the same stains on my back window since the last Skid Pan day ( they use bore water at the Skid Pans which stains / eats into your car if left to dry ).

Couldn't get #4 Heavy Cut ( Meguires told me they don't sell it any more ) so I got #2 Medium Cut and it worked a treat :D Needed a bit more elbow grease but it cleaned up great. I then used windex/metho to clean the glass and then hit it with a coat of Rainex. Forgot glass could look that good !!

Cheers :O

Glad to hear mate! :D

Heavy Cut Cleaner was replaced by Diamond Polish series. I ended up getting the Diamond Polish. Basically anything with a strong cut and a diminishing abrasive will work. I'll grab some pics sometime this weekend after i've cleaned up all my windows.

End results with Diamond Cut Polish. Took two attempts to get rid of it completely.

Comparison ... left side one polish, right side second polish...

I didn't realise how rough the surface of your windows can get until i went over it with the diamond cut... when you first apply it, you see exactly where oxidation has taken place, as there are distinct outlines, you end up taking out rough surfaces which you didn't know where there in the first place. After this i'm going to do all the windows including the front windscreen. Did i mention it works great on your headlights and foggies too?
