Greddy Grex Oil Cooler Kit With Thermostat And Remote Filter Mount

Hi guys,

I have a Greddy oil cooler kit for sale. Details:

Greddy 13 row oil cooler core

Grex remote filter mount (incorporates thermostat)

engine take off plate

all braided lines and fittings (X4)

some brackets etc.

I bought this kit to use on my GTST, but it's not really needed for that car. I use the same kit on my GTR (very slightly different) and it's awesome so when I saw this one I bought it no hesitation. The thermostat keeps oil from flowing through the core until it's up to temp (so no worries in winter) and when hot it opens to let the flow through the core. The take off plate mounts a stock size filter (so no need to buy some stupidly massive holden truck filter like some kits) and it also has threaded holes (1 X 1/8NPT 1 X dash 10AN) so you can mount your oil temp or oil pressure sensor there (i use defi sensors in my GTR one with a trust adapter). This kit was from a 33GTST but I'm confident it will work on 32 GTR, 32 GTST, 33 GTST etc etc. It's just a matter of finding a position to mount it. But the take off plate will bolt on no problem and the core is designed to bolt in front of your radiator.

Kit retails around $1000. I'm after $490 for this used, good condition one. Pick-up is available in Sydney northside, or post it anywhere in aus at the buyers cost. I also have a spare sensor adapter that I bought for my other kit ( I stupidly bought 2 and only needed 1). It's brand new, unused. I want $20 for it.

i made a typo (well, misread something), it is from from ECR33, not BCNR33 so I should have put 33 GTST not GTR in the above text (will edit now), BUT the kit should be exactly the same between the two models as it's radiator mount, not inner guard mount. I haven't tried to fit it to anything, but I bought it on the understanding it still had all the brakets needed to fit it, it certainly looks like it has all the needed bits.

what sensor adaptor are we talking about? is it a sandwich plate ??? or one of those bung screw in things that go into the sandwich plate?

nah, it's a screw in fitting to go with the Greddy kit. Basically allows you to put a Defi sensor in the big hole in the side. ok, see the pic below, the thing circled in red is the filter mount. see the thing on it circled in green? there is another hole that size on the other side. It has a bung in it. The hole is too big for a guage sensor, so they make a new bung that goes in the hole and has a hole drilled through the middle with a 1/8NPT thread on it so you can use a defi sensor (or whatever) in that hole. beside it is another hole that is already 1/8NPT so you can use 2 sensors in the same filter mount (1 press, 1 temp).

i'll take it off you.....i bought a greddy kit last month from nengun and the plate doesnt have te 1/8 thread but has 2 of the big threads just blanked out.

yogi, no worries, the sensor bung is yours.

oil cooler still for sale.

rkwk, reason being my GTST is still running:

stock boost

stock ECU

stock turbo

I was planning a lot more for it, but now I'm going to focus on the GTR, so GTST is staying stock.

I would suggest though that any light tune GTR that says even the odd track day should definately have an oil cooler. and they dont get much nicer quality than these kits.

Core is 13 row and 7.5 inch high (18cm)

2 inch thick (5cm)

13 inches wide (34cm)

The two short lines are 15 inches long (39cm)

The two long ones are approx 42 inch (107cm)

all measurements are approximate (just did them with tape measure).

I will take the oil filter kit at the asking price, as long as all the parts that are needed come with it to bolt onto a R33 GTR...

Are you sure the take off plate will fit a R33 gtr one?
