I Can't Delete Posts

Hi, i found out that other members seem to be able to delete their posts that they don't want. I can't for some reason, i don't have that option.

Anyone help??

no one should be able to delete their posts other than moderators and admins.

i'll have a look through the permissions and make sure that regular users don't have this feature, as it just opens up the system to abuse... like post stupid shit, then go back and delete it so that whoever replies to it looks silly... or delete previous posts so that they can "own pages" with the first post.

im constantly scratching my head in FI... where someone posts something stupid, 3-4 people pull the person up, and then the post goes missin.

And it wasnt Nick/Rich or me doing it

yeah i've noticed that as well before... but I assumed one of the other admins fixed it. haven't looked at permissions in the last few months. I'll have a look when time permits.

funky i think everybody can delete their own posts... it's a permission under the "Members" group.

i can delete mine...although sometimes ive noticed some of my posts dont have the delete button

Not anymore

Members can now edit their own posts and thread titles, but cannot delete their own threads, nor their own posts.

saves me having to workout where posts go.

Now it will only be Admin/Mods, makes it a lot easier.

hahaha nah just for future use!! I sometimes type faster than my brain calculates (which isn't hard!!) oh well i'll make do
