Thats good news, thought we might get squeezed out.

Should get there early to grab a carport.

Paul see if you can get boosted zed to come out to play. :)

i would say not much chance of a carport unfortunately. might be able to get one for the morning but in the arvo guys will be wanting to move in to their alloted bay (i know we will!).

good news paul on the session structure. should make for a fun day then :woot:

SO....could be a goer for me!! :(

and now that my brother decided to have his bucks party on the fatz grip n drift day - this day looks much better for me.

many spots left?

heheheh

Paul - not sure if you eremeber mer - but few years back I dud an SAU track day in my LS1 - signed up on the skylines downunder - was over 3 years ago- so you guys have gotta be nice to me as ill be back to beginer skill !!

I think I do remember, that was a while a go. Everyone has to be a beginner at some stage, its nothing to worry about, its more important that you just get out and have some fun, and not do it on the steets.

Im in the R32 GTS-T doing some development and practice, its my first full track day in this car so I dont expect to be doing V8 times or anything like that either.

Nice one!

:)

Cheers Paul - cant wait to get back out there!

whats the expected turnout of cars? Is it similar to the motoconcept days where theres group a, b and c?

OK,

They run 3 groups. 20min of each hour

C3/4 Cars (Normal race car licence group)

Bikes (National race bikes)

L2S (Us!)

So we basically go out in 1 group, normally there will be a few super sprint guys and a few others + us. I think last time there was about 15 cars, some fast and some slow but not much to worry about.

In order of priority of what to do.

Bleed brakes with Dot 5 or 6 I use the Motul 600V, UAS have it for $50 a litre.

Check pads if they are crap pads make sure you have at least 50% wear, if you have good ones ie Frodo 2500's make sure thay are no lower then 25%. Stopping is number 1!

Tyres make sure you have about 40 PSI, you can always take air out but is a little harder to put it in, dont come out with sh!t tyres, they dont grip well and you often undone, ask yogi.

Change your oil if its older then 5000km, and get a service as well if you have not had one in a while.

If you have suspension mods 3-4 Deg of camber is a good thing on the track and caster is nice as well, so a wheel alignment is cool if you want to be hard core.

Thats about it unless its your first time your car has seen the track, and it has a few mods. It may need pay to get a retune, ie street or drag tune cars dont always last 8 x 20min at full noise.

I think thats it, see you out there.
