Hi Guys,

Here are the basic info:

Nissan Skyline R33 GTST 93' Series 1

Genuine 93000km

Manual, White

Melbourne Only

$27500 ono

(mods – see below)

This is a reluctant sale but I am getting a company car for my salary package, therefore it is time to consider selling my baby. As an enthusiast myself, I’m looking for an enthusiast to buy this who will continue doing up this car and take me for a ride some day. =)

I’m in no hurry to sell, so please don’t waste your time and mine with ‘silly’ offers. I only want to sell in Melbourne and the selling price is $27500 (neg. upon inspection).

Let’s start off with a bit of background. I bought this car in July 2001 off an Importer in Melbourne. Prior to me, this car was an evaluation vehicle for VICROADS where they have conducted detailed check for the car and found no problems. Since I've owned this car, there has been no mechanical problems what-so-ever and has always IDLE smoothly.

As the subject of this thread suggest the car has been light tuned. Here are the mods done in order (oldest to latest)

Performance:

- K&N Pod Filter and Kakimoto 4” Cat Back (Came with Car)

- Apexi AVCR Electronic Boost Controller

- Clutch, Full exhaust

- Mr. Radiator High Performance Cooper-brass Radiator (4 months old with 3 years warranty)

- Custom Intercooler with custom made piping (Extremely efficient – 2 months old)

Brakes, Wheels and Suspension

- Machined Discs, EBC Green stuff at front and Black stuff at back, Dot 4HP fluid.

- DTM 18” light chromed Battle Rims on Kumho Super 712 (80% tyre left)

- Lower control arm and bushes replaced.

- GAB Stroke-R Racing Suspension and Springs (Height and damper adjustable, 3months old)

Body:

- R33 GTR Rear wing

- GTR Style Front Grill

- Veilside Sideskirt

- Nismo 400R Front Bar

As I look after my car very well, I always run 0.6 bar except the odd times you have a bit of fun and turn it up. This car has never been on the tracks, frequently serviced with full-syn oils at 4000-5000km intervals.

No price negotiations before inspection please. PM or Email me on [email protected]

If you are interested, arrange an inspection with me on 0411220673 or email and we’ll go from there.

Cheers,

Alan

I have received offer for suspension

so I can sell car for $25500 ono with stock suspension or $23500 ono with stock suspension and stock wheels if I can sell the 18" DTM wheels too

offers open for:

- suspension (4 months old, cost $2200)

- wheels & RIMS (80%+ left on tyre)

- sony deck (Cost $999)

wheels:

235/40 front

265/35 Rear

Cost $3000.... less than 12 months old... Make me an offer via PM and I'll consider it. I know if I take them off, it will make my car harder to sell (it looks bad with a fat body kit and stock skinny tyres) But if the offer is reasonable, I'll take them off with my suspension..... save labour.

N1R34,

If you interested, make me an offer for the suspension via PM

I bought it last Nov for $2500... Height and Damper adjustable...

My experience with the suspension:

- Hard since it is race spec... I run on 4 out of 8 hardness, but make your car super sharp and almost eliminate body roll completely in normal road driving... can go in a corner much faster and get out super quick..... Heaps of fun. I wouldn't recommend it if you do a lot of driving in suburbs with tram rails (e.g. Toorak) or bumpy road. You'll just be riding a horse.

Cool.... just a little reminder about rules of the forum.... no prices neg via post.... but PM or email only.... I don't want my post to be taken off....... so lets do things the right way...

You offer is the best I have so far.... so if you are happy with it... I'll sell at this price... unless there is a better offer.

You are welcome to arrange a time to inspect and decide for yourself...

Just a bit more background/info for you...

Suspension: Bought it from Hong Kong last Oct... ex-display from shop... I luggage them over in Nov (so all boxes thrown away)and installed in Jan 03...

Rims and Tyres... Bought at BGT.. (Now HyperTech) beginning of 2002.

My name is Alan. What's yours?

Cheers,

Alan

Dude, I really can't control what you think or believe. But it is interesting that you think I'm bluffing but still say you are interested. Plus the fact that there are some other bloke in this forum which sell similar item (Claiming that it is brand new, never used) for $800 but you have not showed an interest in the thread. (Unless you are not aware of it)

Trust me, it is no fun to luggage 4 suspension weighting over 25kg. Anyone who has done it before will agree. You take the box out because you don't want it to be taxed. (only $400 value of personal goods is allowed). It badly damaged my Samsonite suitcase and basically made me can't put on much more luggage on my trip back. (ie. can't buy a lot of things I want when I was in HK).... My point is... Its a big scarifice to luggage your suspension. Only stupid people will do it. (like me, who really want it for themselve to use and to protect it). That's why I laugh when I see ppl selling GAB suspensions claiming bought from overseas, never used, still in box etc. for say $1200..... because they are making BIG scarifice, which is really nice of them!

Actually, I won't blame you being suspicious coz there are lot of 2nd hand stuff over there.

But I definitely did not pick this up second hand or from wrecker. I can't be more honest with you than I had, unless I have been lied to too. This is what happened. When the shop sold it to me, it was sitting in the back of their workshop on the floor with dust all over it and blu-tag all over it..... I was really thinking whether it is brand new or not... though from the outside (besides the dust) it is quite new... It was more than 10% off the Brand New price... but the most important factor for me was a new order from Jap was going to take 3 weeks and my flight was only 5 days away. So I took a gamble.

I was scared to be ripped off too... until I took it to Quadrant in Berwick to inspect and do a suspension dyno ($38.5) each. But the guy at Quadrant checked it out by doing a few routine tests and told me to save the dyno exercise (because they said it is pretty much brand new even if it isn't). I truely believed it was brand new after I've installed it and used it.

My point is..... the best I can do is tell you my true story. But you can make your assumptions and believe what you want. I can't control that. I hate to be accused of a liar when I tell ppl the truth and being genuine. I would really question how serious you are when you are making such judgements without even seen the suspensions before.....unless its your way to make room for negotiation..... but again... I could be wrong and in actual fact you are just a very careful person...... which I can understand. I hope you are the later, otherwise I'm just wasting my time here...

On the hand..... to be frank with you.... (only nice guys do this... haha... make me more suspicious does it?) since you are comparing buying new...... The exchange rate is about 10% higher than last Oct.... so you might just find a deal better value than mine. Then again, that's your call.

Cheers,

Alan

Alan is no liar... I have dealed with Alan on a couple of occasions and he has only produced me with top quality items and parts!!

If Alan says its brand new, IT IS!!!! He is a honest guy.

Its your loss that you dont believe him, but dont sit there and make him out to look like a liar when he isnt.
