R32 Auto To Manual Conversion: Spigot Bush Stuck!

Currently converting my 32 from auto to manual and we're up to the step of removing the automatic spigot bush. It is jammed good! We have tried packing it with grease and knocking it out and we have tried using a pilot bush puller but to no avail.

Does anyone know of any other techniques we could try short of getting an oxy and cutting it into little pieces??

Also is the bush meant to made of brass or something else?

When I was installing an auto RB25DET from a Stagea into my manual 32, we had to weld a wheel stud to the bush and use a drift hammer to pull it out.

i used silicon, its alot thicker than grease.

I had to cut mine out of my last GTR, I used an air hacksaw and a lot of care.

I then had to machine up a drift to put the new one in...

grease will get it out eventually.. just keep packing and packing..

But otherwise, get one of those one-handed hacksaws and file it through. Then do the same on the top.

i believe hes refering to the flexplate locator

just make sure you put in a spigot bush anyway but soak it in oil for a day before you install it carefully

Cut 2 slots in it opposite each other and use a clamp type bearing puller.
