Touch Up Paint? How To? What Kind

i have a graze across front left side of bumper

f**k there are so many kinds of white for touch up paint i almost fell over

i have an r33 s2 and yes ITS IS WHITE! QM1 or QMI is the paint code and aparently its just "white"

just wondering has anyone used touch up paint before.

i dont just want to spray it on if its not going to match i got no idea what to do.

the mark is about 10 cm by 1 cm at the widest point, how much would it cost to get it done by the pros?

Hey mate, I'm a Duco Magic technician in coffs harbour, but there are heaps of us around australia... Try to find one in your area (if you pm me I can try to find one through head office if you like)... We all work on a satisfaction guaranteed policy (I'm always honest about the expected result, and so are any established techs), and match most colours on the spot... the prob with ordering factory touch up paint is that colours vary so much between batches of cars even of the same colour... time also fades paint....

If you want to do it yourself, take the fuel cover door with you to a auto paint shop and give them the code as well ( qm1 sounds right)and they will mix and colour match it for you . Just get 1/2 a lt , should be a bout $25-30 for acrylic and you will have plenty left for next time.

Dont atempt to spray it yourself if you never done it before it will be crap.

i think hes talking bout a spray can from super cheap ???

i know money doesnt grow on trees, but i think paint is something worth spending on, if it isnt a perfect match it will stand out like a sore thumb.
